CODE OF CONDUCT
BEHAVIOR
Manlius Cinema has a zero tolerance policy to inappropriate and aggressive verbal, physical, or sexual behavior. We ask that customers report such behavior to staff for resolution instead of engaging personally. Anyone behaving in a manner deemed aggressive or abusive may be reseated or ejected from the theater without refund at the discretion of the staff. Please minimize talking and moderate the volume of all necessary verbal exchanges appropriately during the screening of the film. Violators will be warned and potentially ejected without recourse. Absolutely no running in the theater, climbing/jumping on the seats, tables, stairs, or stage. Violators will be warned and potentially ejected from the theater without recourse.
CELL PHONES
All cellphones are to be in silent mode during screentimes. Please minimize phone usage to emergencies or communication that food orders from A.W. Wander have arrived. All calls must be taken outside of the auditorium during showtimes. Violators will be warned and potentially ejected without recourse.
DRESS CODE
No shirt, No shoes, No Service! Customers must be appropriately covered and wear shoes at all times when in the theater. Vulgarity and sexually inapproriate images are prohibited at all public screenings. Violators will be warned and potentially ejected without recourse.
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
Certain movies are specifically made for audience interaction (e.g. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, any "Sing-Along" version, etc.) whereas others may organically develop an agreed upon level of audience interaction (e.g. A Minecraft Movie). Manlius Cinema is commited to ensuring you have the best experience at every show and will make every effort to communicate what type of participation is tolerated (and prohibited) in these situations. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of permitted/expected audience participation and behave appropriately. Universally restricted behavior includes, but is not limited to, throwing objects at the screen, running in the theater, climbing/jumping on seats/tables/stairs/stage. Violators will be warned or eject from the theater without recourse, and potentially prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for any damages. Recourse is at the discretion of staff if you are unwilling or unable to tolerate a screening with audience participation. Contact us for questions about audience participation to a specific film.
